I love the trailer nets for my mare. The mesh is a thicker type, so very durable {have a few from over 3 years ago} & the smaller openings make the hay last for a sufficient time. I use them for the overnight feeding & will usually prepare all for the week at one time. Filling is fast as the nets themselves are consistent weight within 2 ounces , so filling to the desired total weight makes is easy to be accurate & not over/under feed my easy keeper.
Great feedback and tips. I used to pre-fill all my small nets ahead of time too. great time saver.
