HayHoops
EcoNets
HayHoops are handy frames with an EcoNet mounted on them to provide a simple & easy way to feed hay. They mount on the inside of the pen, so you can easily feed from outside, by tossing hay between the planks into the net. Or keep it portable by slipping the net between fence rails or panels, we suggest zip tying or securing with our EZ Wraps. Can also be used in & outside your trailer.
With HayHoops there's no more collecting nets to fill at the hay shed, only to have to carry them back. No more untying, opening & filling, then re-tying, re-hanging, etc... HayHoops are perfect for busy boarding, training & vet facilities or anyone with multiple horses to feed, as they save a lot of time. Pex Hoops can be made into an oval to fit your fence, Conduit Hoops are rigid one size fits most rectangle or triangle with rounded corners.
To mount Pex: Standing inside the pen, with the connector at the bottom center and the opening against the fence, evenly spread the net on the hoop, shape into an oval to fit in your fence.
- Screw the 1st clamp in place enough to hold but don't over tighten, do the same with the 2nd clamp.
- Then re-shape the Pex to fit the top of the next board and screw the 3rd + 4th clamps into place.
- Adjust as needed then securely tighten the screws. You're now ready to feed.
To mount conduit: Using the same procedure as above, without flexing the hoop, mount inside the pen with the opening facing outwards, and the seam of the net at the bottom.
- hoop can also be mounted horizontally, like the triangle hoops, in the top corner of a stall, pen, run-in.
** Be sure to mount so the bottom of the net is at the horses chest height to prevent an accident from the horse pawing. Shod or barefoot.
*** Pex hoops need to be securely mounted with all 4 clamps, zip ties or EZ Wraps (2 at the top & 2 at the bottom) to prevent movement and possible breakage in the cold.

Caution: meant for use by 1 horse per net. Multiple horses pulling at the net can break the Pex pipe if not properly secured with the 4 clamps provided.
***use with caution and place high enough that shod horses cannot paw or get the hoop on the ground and possibly get a shoe caught.
